When I was new into fragrances, and still pretty shy about anything "strange" in fragrances I still managed to fall in love with both Philosykos and L’Ombre dans l’Eau which earned the "bracingly rebarbative" comment. Some have said that he tries to imitate Turin's style, and that might be a part of it, but I just have the feeling that he can be sort of a flowery guy.Īnd I really agree with Chris' comments above about Diptyque.
